Widespread Panic just finished four nights in the Dominican Republic at Panic en la Playa Cuatro - and to my ears it sounded like the boys were having a really fine time of it.... plus there were some sweet guest performances as well (more of that in part two).
So I figured I would pare down the 12 hours of music to a two part PaniCast of highlights.

Cold horizontal rain coming down in sheets. Reports of plane crashes. In the hotel bar on the big screen the Bears and Packers on Monday Night Football are playing in 'throw back' uniforms. A girl in a grass skirt and a coconut top floats by. Are we in some sort of weird time-warp?

If that seems strange, imagine showing up for a halloween show and buying tickets at the door for $12!
Northwestern's fall ball in a hotel ballroom featuring Widespread Panic was a truly memorable experience and the last small scale halloween the band ever played.
